An Older Tai

Hey folks.

Starting of the posts this week with another commission from Takatofan1989 who has a cool infatuation with Digimon characters.

This was a commission of Tai.

I'm sure I mentioned this in my Henry post, but aging characters Is very fun. It was no different with Tai. 

I wanted to really push myself into doing a clothed version because I didn't want to be lazy.
I even managed to squeeze it into one drawing session (almost didn't).
Once you know how to work layers though, these things become a snap.

Like Henry, I won't post ALL the versions here, you'll have to ask Takatofan1986 for that one. He DID allow me to post, but I just want it to be personal and meaningful. It is a commish after all.

Naughty Kiba

Hey Folks!

Well there's actually NO particular reason why I drew this. I still want to practice SAI and I wanted to see If I could still pull off the the simple Cell-shading style.

So I literally went In my reference folders, clicked on Anime and Did " eni mini myni mo " Twice until I fell On Naruto ( the series) then On Kiba.

There are 3 simple Background versions to this and this is the bed one. The other 2 are on my Tumblr and the other on my Y!gallery.

Luffy's Ride! Captain Kuro's Confusion!

Hey again guys!

Just a quick post before i get some sleep

You may have guessed from the title, but i started watching One Piece! i Know there like 500+ episodes out but I'm planning on catching up on them.

Around the beginning when Usopp was going to join the crew, the Villain was Captain Kuro, and thus i bring you This!

In the interest of staying true to the show, i drew Luffy here without his hat and Captain Kuro with clothes on.

I gotta say, the old episodes of this show are quite good for something that has been out for like 10 years. Yet strangely enough, the same thing i love about the show i dislike slightly.
Oh MY WORD! You do not know the meaning of "exaggerated " until you've watched One Piece. Sure some of these characters ate the devil's fruit and got powers, but these characters have huge mouths, ears aren't where they're supposed to be, their feet are huge... man the list goes on and on. When you become an artist and get bashed over the popular " style vs skill" debate, it's hard to let these things fly, but i digress.

Luffy is an AWESOME main character! Something about his space case, no brainer one liners and Air-d'etre are funny, innocent and endearing. So i can just imagine him going " OOOhh! you're cock's HUGE isn't it!?" and joyfully bouncing on it leaving Captain Kuro wondering what the hell is going on.

Oh by the way here's the reason i HAD to draw this.

........ Oh yea sure, the anime answer is he held him so he can get him with an attack...... But see in this day an age, I'm what you call a pervert... and canon stuff like this does not slide....

And Luffy's a Rubber man... Come on, those ideas and puns write themselves!

Fan Girl Scream !!! Junjou Romantica !!!!!!

Hey everyone ! Since Season 2 has started in Japan, i've decided to let you guys in on this wonder Yaoi, Junjou Romantica !
This isn't your typical lovey-dovey anime either, especially if in there's some serious sexual harrassment going on in the first episode ! no joke.
Yes, can you beleive it ! this is a gay themed anime and it has 24 episodes in total ! and it's popular ! i think we're making progress here ! lol

The show follows the story of 3 couples, Misaki and Usagi ( in the middle ), Hiro and Nowaki ( to the left ) and finally Shinobu and Miyagi ( to the right ).

Misaki was living with his older brother when one day he comes home and meets the great Usami sensei ( Usagi ) a famous novel writer. Misaki grades are low, and coincidently Usagi ended up being his tudor, all hell breaks loose when Misaki finds out about his "other" books...

Hiro was crying in the park one day when a plastic rocket fell ou of the sky in front of him one day, then when Nowaki came to pic it up and saw Hiro, it was love at first sight for him. Hiro later finds out that Nowaki needs help with school and that he was orphaned as a child, however things get sweet and awkard when feelings and memories of Usagi get involed... Not to mention when Nowaki leaves for 6 years !

Miyagi was sitting enjoy his break one day when he meets an old acquaintance who confesses his love to him... his ex-wife's younger brother ! Miyagi then dubs him as a terrorist and refuses to give in to Shinobu claiming that he's a kid, but that's not stopping Shinobu !

Another reason i suggest you buy, look up on Youtube or Download Junjou Romantica is because even by anime standards, it's great ! it's sweet, Romantic like the title is, serious at time, but incredibly Hilarious !

I urge you to look into it, as it's success has brought us a Second season which started airing October 11th ( yep, it's passing right now, it's not to late to get hooked ! ), it might be subtitled, but man is it good !! not to mention it ain't too PG either, ha !
